In the First World War, a Russian air engineer, Peter, was injured in an accident and had to have one of his legs amputated. The doctors gave him a wooden leg. Peter kept himself busy with military activities. During the Second World War, he was encouraging the wounded in hospitals. He ek sainik se kaha, one advantage of fake leg is that it doesn’t feel anything when it gets hurt. Saying this he held out his cane to the wounded soldier. The injured soldier put two or three canes on Peter’s leg in excitement. Peter laughed and said, “No young man, so much trouble.” Seeing Peter’s smiling face had a good effect on the wounded soldiers. Peter came out of the room with his assistant officer, he started pressing his leg with his hands, groaning in pain. The assistant asked, अधर तो तुमा हसन रहे टे. Peter said, ‘My brother, that young man beat me on my right leg. मैन उसे भोटा तो मेरा जाना ही विण्य हो जाता.’
