The mega food park being built in Rohtak is going to be completed soon. Work on this is going on at a fast pace. The work of Central Processing Unit in this park is in the final stage. This information was given in the meeting held in Chandigarh on Monday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal. 21 development projects costing more than Rs 100 crore were reviewed in the meeting.
Of these, three projects of the Urban Local Bodies Department costing Rs 455.14 crore have been completed. The Chief Secretary said that the projects are progressing on schedule, including five projects within the urban local body sector, four projects in the public works (B&R) and architecture sectors along with town and country planning and two projects dedicated to agriculture. Are. This includes 1 project each in the farmer welfare sector and animal husbandry and dairy, cooperation, industry and commerce, irrigation and water resources, medical education and research, and public health engineering sectors.
Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said that nodal officers should ensure to update the timeline of completion of development projects and them so that they can be easily monitored.
The Chief Secretary took charge of Home, Cooperation, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education and Research, Civil Aviation, Animal Husbandry and Dairy, Energy, Industry and Commerce, Public Health, Public Works and Archaeology, Irrigation and Water Resources, Urban Local Bodies. Reviewed in detail 82 development projects worth Rs 54836.39 crore of 14 departments including city and planning and gave necessary guidelines to the officials. The Chief Secretary gave instructions to take necessary action regarding the Swarnjayanti Integrated Aviation Hub to be built in Hisar. He also asked to speed up the construction work of Lala Lajpat Rai University, Hisar.
Apart from this, the work of installation of 11 KV feeder and smart meter in Smart City Gurugram was also reviewed. He said that smart meters are being installed in the homes of electricity consumers. For this, formalities should be completed and action should be taken soon so that all electricity consumers can get the benefits.
Review of these projects
The Chief Secretary reviewed in detail several development projects including IMT, Sohna, Phase-2 of Industrial Estate Barwala, Phase-I of Industrial Global City Gurugram, Integrated Multimodal Logistics Hub Project Nangal Choudhary, IMT Kharkhoda, Electronic Manufacturing Cluster Sohna and took necessary steps in these. Took information about the work. He also received reports on the drinking water scheme being made to provide drinking water to 35 villages in Badhra area and 52 villages and 5 dhanis in Nuh district.
CCTV cameras being installed in 501 police stations
Most of the work of installing CCTV cameras in 501 police stations of the state has been completed. Now the work of checking them is going on. He said that the construction work of apple, fruit and vegetable market being built in Pinjore at a cost of Rs 140 crore is being done at a fast pace. He also reviewed in detail the construction of International Market Gannaur and the campus construction of Maharana Pratap Horticulture University, Karnal. Shri Krishna Ayush University and Deen Dayal Upadhyay University have completed the establishment of branch in Kutel. The work of installing equipment and furniture in these will be completed by December 31.
