Director General of Police Shatrujit Kapoor said that with the aim of making the society more inclusive and fair towards women, Haryana will conduct two separate sessions of gender sensitization in the schools, colleges and other institutions of the districts by a team of women police personnel to make them aware. For this, a trained and experienced team of women policemen will be deployed on field duty in every district. He said that Haryana Police has prepared an outline for gender sensitization programs to strengthen the feeling of respect and respect for each other among men and women in the society. Experienced trained women police personnel in each district will visit schools, colleges and other institutions to educate them about good touch and bad touch including policies and procedures related to gender sensitivity so that they are aware of gender based issues and provide safe and inclusive environment to all. meet. Along with this, the team will remain in touch with women in the institutions so that women can feel free to share their problems with them. Through this initiative, an effort is being made to provide a platform to women so that their sense of confidence regarding security increases.
DIG Women Security Nazneen Bhasin said that 25 companies have been deployed in the entire state to prevent crimes against women. To ensure the safety of women in the state, 46 patrolling vehicles have been deployed separately and 33 women police stations have been established. Haryana Legal Services Authority provides free legal aid for legal guidance to the victimized women at these women police stations.
81 women PCR deployed in the state
Taking forward the efforts related to women safety, 81 women PCRs and scooter riders have also been deployed across the state. For the convenience of women living in remote areas, 239 women help desks have been set up in their nearby areas so that women do not have to go away from their homes in case of need.
