A British Palestinian scientist refuses to leave Gaza despite the war
After the Rafah crossing was opened for the crossing of the wounded and those holding foreign passports, hundreds gathered at the crossing to exit Gaza. However, the Palestinian-British scientist Muhammad Ghalayini preferred to remain in Gaza.
Muhammad Ghalayini is an atmospheric scientist based in Manchester, England. He went to Gaza in September this year to visit his father and brothers residing there. He intended to stay for three months, but soon after his arrival the war began. Learn about his story in this report.
