Three masked miscreants opened fire on a businessman on Molgodam Road here in the early hours of Saturday morning, in which he escaped unhurt. This incident happened when the businessman was going to his shop in Palwal Sabzi Mandi. Palwal Police has registered a case and started investigation.

Subhash Gandhi, a resident of Palwal’s Indrapuri Mohalla, in his complaint to the Palwal police station, said that on Saturday at 4:30 a.m. he was going to his shop at Sabzi Mandi on his scooter. At the same time, 3 young men on bikes came from the side of the city council office on Mal godown road and started chasing him. All three had a cloth tied over their mouths.

When Scooty stopped running, the accused fired at him. A bullet ricocheted off his shoulder. There were shrapnel on the shoulder and forehead. After the shooting, the youth escaped from the spot on a bike. On getting the information, his son reached the spot and got him admitted to the district civil hospital for treatment. Businessman Subhash Gandhi says that he has no grudge against anyone. It is suspected that he attacked him with the intention of looting.
