San Francisco, United States.- President Andrés Manuel López Obrador meets this afternoon in this city with his Canadian counterpart, Justin Trudeau.
The bilateral meeting, which began at 4:28 p.m. local time, takes place at the Monscone Center, headquarters of the APEC summit.
In the initial greeting, López Obrador pointed out that he has a very good relationship with Trudeau and that they are like brothers, while the Canadian stated that they are good friends.
“We have a very good relationship as it should be, like brothers,” said López Obrador upon arriving at a room accompanied by members of his cabinet.
“We are very good friends,” Trudeau said at the beginning of the bilateral meeting, which is scheduled to last about an hour.
When asked if he will travel to Canada next year – for the North American leaders’ summit – López Obrador nodded.
