The eight associations which contacted the Council of State are the Order of French-speaking and German-speaking bars, Le Cire, the association for the defense of foreigners’ rights, Vluchtelingenwerk Vlaanderen, the human rights league, the citizen platform in support of refugees, Saamo, and the non-profit organization Nansen.
The case should be pleaded in the course of next week, according to the communication of the lawyer Picard.
Several Ecolo-Groen deputies, in the majority at the federal level, have already challenged the decision taken last Friday by the government to maintain the instruction of the Secretary of State to no longer temporarily accommodate single men in the Fedasil network.
