New Delhi. Today (September 7) the first match of Super 4 in Asia Cup will be played between Pakistan vs Bangladesh. Both the teams are fully prepared for this. Till now both the teams have won 1-1 match in Asia Cup 2023. Today’s match will be very important for both the teams. Bangladesh team can be seen confident in this match. Because his record in the last five ODIs against Pakistan has been excellent.
Bangladesh has won a total of 4 of the last 4 ODI matches against Pakistan. Whereas, Pakistan’s team has been able to win only one match. In the year 2015, in an ODI series, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 79 runs in the first match in Mirpur. After 2 days they once again defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. The Bangladesh team did not stop here. After 2 days, they once again defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets. Tamim Iqbal was elected ‘Player of the Series’ in this ODI series due to his excellent batting.
Talking about the fourth match, after 3 years both the teams clashed in Abu Dhabi in the year 2018. Where Pakistan once again had to face defeat from Bangladesh. Bangladesh defeated them by 37 runs. For the fifth and last time both the teams clashed at the Lord’s ground in the year 2019. There Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 94 runs. Now it has to be seen who wins in the first match of Super 4 of Asia Cup this year. The match will be played in Lahore.
