Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta, while holding a Janta Darbar at HSVP Field Hostel in Sector-6 on Thursday, listened to the problems of the people and solved most of the problems on the spot.
Gupta said that if any officer or employee stops the file due to his personal interest or unnecessarily, then strict cognizance will be taken of such cases. He said that the state government is working in the public interest at the ground level by adopting a policy of zero tolerance against corruption. A case of illegal occupation of some part of the park located in Sector-10 was raised in the Janata Darbar. While hearing the matter, he directed the concerned officer to get the encroachment freed and assured the complainants that illegal encroachment would soon be removed from the area. Similarly, two separate cases of Cooperative Group Housing Society were placed in the Janata Darbar.
