Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD Remaster, the new versions of the classic GameCube RPG, could be coming to PC, according to a South African age rating website.
The remaster of these two games was announced last February, and in theory it would be scheduled for release in September. However, when it was originally revealed, in a Nintendo Direct, only Nintendo Switch versions were confirmed.
The South African audiovisual content regulator, the Film and Publication Board of South Africa, has recently published a list of games that were registered during the months of April and May of this 2023. In this list is Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD Remaster, but its classification affects, in addition to a Nintendo Switch version, also a PC version, as reported by Gematsu.
If the news is officially confirmed, it would be the first time that Baten Kaitos is playable on a non-Nintendo platform.
The same document cites other games not yet revealed, such as a compilation of Borderlands games under the name “Pandora’s Box” for PC and consoles, or a spin-off of the Lego saga under the name Lego 2K Gooooal.
