Safidon, 29 April

BJP candidate from Sonipat, Mohanlal Baroli, held meetings in 17 villages including Khatla, Bhuslana, Didwara, Bassini and Barod of Safidon assembly constituency and appealed for votes in the name of PM Narendra Modi. In Didwara village at the end of Sonipat Lok Sabha constituency and Safidon assembly constituency, he said that Congress’s intention is to divide the country. Therefore, in its manifesto, it has talked about distributing the property among the minorities by getting the property assessed across the country. He gave Ram-Ram to the people on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He promised that the status of the government school of this village will be increased to ten plus two in the current session itself.

On the other hand, Congress candidate Satpal Brahmachari held meetings in Kalwa, Pillukheda and ancestral village Gangoli. On the issue of employment in Kalwa, he said that Haridwar is a big hub of employment and if the government is formed, he will make similar arrangements in Jind district also.

Congress MLA of Safidon Subhash Gangoli and Lok Sabha candidate Satpal Brahmachari both belong to Gangoli village of Safidon. Gangoli said in the pilgrimage complex of village Kalwa that the path to Brahmachari ji Assembly and Lok Sabha passes through these 15 villages of Pillukheda. I have seen their support as well as anger. If they get angry then they don’t come back. On the other hand, Satpal said that this is an ancient holy pilgrimage, here the truth has to be spoken and one has to live up to it.

Stone pelting on BJP candidate’s convoy

Safidon (NIS): When the convoy of BJP candidate Mohanlal Baroli was returning after the program from Dharamgarh village late in the evening, 24-25 people gathered on the road in front of the convoy, due to which Baroli had to return to Rodh village via Khedakhemavati. A DJ vehicle and a car traveling ahead of the convoy had already left Dharamgarh, when they were stopped at Malikpur, some people pelted bricks at the DJ and broke the glass of the car. After this the program of Aftabgarh was cancelled.
