Bulli Bai Case: Main accused Neeraj Bishnoi sent on 7 days police remand

Neeraj Bishnoi, the main accused in the Bulli Bai case, has been sent to seven-day police remand. 21-year-old second year BTech student Neeraj Bishnoi was arrested from Assam by the IFSO team of Delhi Police’s Special Cell for allegedly being the main conspirator and creator of the app in the Bulli Bai case.

Neeraj Bishnoi, a resident of Jorhat, Assam, is a second year student of B.Tech (Computer Science) at Vellore Institute of Technology, Bhopal. Earlier, on January 6, Vellore Institute of Technology suspended Neeraj Bishnoi from the university with immediate effect till further notice.

According to Assam Police’s SP Ankur Jain, Neeraj Bishnoi had come from Bhopal to Jorhat on December 25. Neeraj Bishnoi was arrested by the Assam Police late on 5 January and was handed over to the Delhi Police on 6 January.
