Canadian Police has arrested three suspected Indians in the murder case of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. On June 18 last year, Nijjar was shot dead by unknown people. Now Canadian Police has arrested three suspects from Edmonton area, whose names are Karan Brar (22 years), Kamalpreet Singh (22 years) and Karanpreet Singh (28 years). All three have been charged with first degree murder and conspiracy. Canada’s Integrated Investigation Team (IHIT) has told these things in a statement. While expressing regret over deteriorating relations with India, IHIT also said that it is facing difficulty in coordinating with Indian agencies.

David Teball, commander of the Federal Policing Program in the Pacific Region, told a press conference that the search for other people involved in this case is still ongoing. Apart from this, it is also being ascertained what connection the murder has with India. He said, separate investigations are going on in this matter. It is not only to find out what role the arrested people had in the conspiracy but also to investigate its connection with the Government of India.

He did not tell what could be the reason behind the murder. The hearing of the case will start in the court on Monday. He said, I just want to tell that the matter is being investigated seriously. Whatever was told today is not everything. Investigation is still going on. Only after this all things will be revealed.

Teball said that the investigating officers are also contacting Indian agencies but this is becoming difficult because relations between the two countries have deteriorated significantly in the last one year. He said, the investigation does not end here. We know that more people may also be involved in this conspiracy and we have to arrest everyone. Media reports said that these three may have come to Canada as international students within the last five years. It is also being told that he has connections with Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Police have also released the photograph of Karan Brar, one of the three arrested. Apart from this, a picture of a Toyota Corolla has also been shared. Police believe that this SUV was used at the time of the murder. Let us tell you that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had accused India of Nijjar’s murder. However, India rejected it as fake. It was said from New Delhi’s side that if Canada provides any concrete evidence in this matter, then India is also ready to cooperate. However, till now Canada has not been able to provide even a single proof. Terrorist Nijjar was the head of Sikhs for Justice and used to organize a referendum demanding Khalistan while living in British Columbia.
