Capcom has officially confirmed the launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on March 22, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
The news will not surprise many as it was leaked this morning on the game’s Steam page, where it had been published before the showcase that the Japanese company had planned for tonight.
During the event, which lasted around a quarter of an hour, director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi showed a new and extensive trailer in which you could see more new features of the game, such as a colossal soldier called Talos or a secondary mission in which the language of the locals is translated by a laborer.
We have also been able to see the new character editor, the new Trickster vocation (whose weapon produces smoke that causes illusions) and much more.
Pre-orders for the Standard and Deluxe editions of Dragon’s Dogma 2 are now live. The second includes a camping kit and other in-game items to “help you prepare for your trip.” Pre-ordering the Standard Edition includes extra weapons for the four starting vocations in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition includes “additional accessories.”
