Chief Minister Manohar Lal reached Dera Beas in Sikanderpur village of Sirsa on Sunday and met Maharaj Gurwinder Singh and attended satsang. After this Sirsa inspected different places in the city and announced to implement many announcements. The Chief Minister announced to lay the foundation stone of the proposed medical college in Sirsa in the month of January and to name it after Dera Baba Sarsainath. In the month of January, he himself will come to lay the foundation stone of this medical college.
The CM also announced the establishment of a one-acre drug addiction center on Red Cross land in Sirsa. He reached the Anaj Mandi and heard the problems of farmers and said that the market committee will be entrusted with the maintenance of the Anaj Mandi. Announcing that permanent land will be given to 750 families displaced from the city, the Chief Minister said that 35 acres of land has been seen in village Salarpur, where all the families will be given free plots of 100-100 yards. If necessary, they will also get a loan from the bank to build a house.
Fulfilling the age-old demand of the auto market shopkeepers, the Chief Minister said that an amount of Rs 70 lakh was given to the city council by the auto market shopkeepers in 1997-98, which will be returned with interest, amounting to around five crores. . The Chief Minister said that 210 new shops will be constructed at a cost of 7 crores in the auto market and these shops will be allotted through auction. He also listened to the words of Maharaj Gurvindra Singh Dhillo while sitting with Sadh Sangat.
After that the Chief Minister went to the residence of Maharaj Gurvinder Singh Dhillo and met him and honored him by presenting him with a shawl. The Chief Minister appreciated the service to humanity and social harmony work being done by Radha Swami Satsang Byas.
