Congress government is coming back in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, expected to return to power with huge majority: Opinion poll

In the assembly elections to be held this year in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Congress government is once again coming to power in both the states. According to the IANS-Pollstrat opinion poll, Congress will retain power in Chhattisgarh with 62 seats and in Rajasthan with 97-105 seats.

In the assembly elections to be held in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh later this year, Congress government is once again coming to power in both the states. According to IANS-Pollstrat opinion poll, Bhupesh Baghel is expected to return to power in Chhattisgarh with 62 seats. Whereas in Rajasthan, it is estimated that Congress will retain its power with 97-105 seats.

According to IANS-Pollstrat Opinion Poll 2023, Congress will retain its power in Rajasthan Assembly elections with 97-105 seats. BJP is expected to get 89-97 seats in the upcoming elections. Congress currently has 100 seats in the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly. According to the poll, Congress is enjoying a positive vote swing of 2 per cent and is projected to get 41 per cent vote share, while BJP will get 40 per cent votes.

According to the opinion poll, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is the most popular CM candidate with a score of 37.9 per cent, followed by BJP’s Vasundhara Raje at 25.5 per cent and Congress’s Sachin Pilot at 25.4 per cent. According to the survey, 47.8 percent respondents described Gehlot’s work as good. In the desert state, 34.9 per cent people said unemployment was the most important issue, followed by 19.7 per cent people who gave importance to electricity, roads and 13.8 per cent people gave importance to farmers’ issues.

According to IANS-Pollstrat Opinion Poll 2023, Congress is expected to win 62 seats in Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, with which Bhupesh Baghel is expected to return to power in Chhattisgarh. BJP is expected to get 27 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. Congress currently has 71 MLAs in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Assembly.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has very strong approval ratings. 60 percent of the respondents supported him as the most popular chief ministerial candidate. BJP’s Raman Singh has got the support of 34 percent respondents. In the survey, 50 percent respondents described the work of CM Baghel as good. In the upcoming assembly elections, Congress is expected to get 44 percent vote share, while BJP is expected to get 38 percent votes.
