Congress will take to the streets if gangrape accused are not caught soon –

Panipat, 28 September (NIS)

Former state spokesperson and senior Congress leader Priyanka Hooda addressed a meeting in Java Colony of village Noorwala on Thursday as part of a public contact campaign. On this occasion, Priyanka Hooda said that ever since the BJP government was formed, crimes against women have increased. He said that a huge crime has been committed at a camp in Matlauda police station area and the police has not been able to arrest even a single accused till now. More than a week has passed since this incident and till now no minister, both BJP MLAs and MPs of the district have reached the camp and consoled the victim’s families. From this historical land of Panipat, PM Modi had given the slogan of ‘Save Beti and Educate Beti’, but on this very land, mass rape of daughters is taking place. Priyanka Hooda said that this shows that the mentality of BJP is anti-women. While giving an ultimatum to the government and the administration, Priyanka Hooda said that if the four accused who committed heinous acts against the three women are not arrested very soon, then the Congress will surround this government from the road to the assembly. Priyanka Hooda claimed that about 69 crore women of the country and the state will work to oust the BJP’s Modi government and the state’s Khattar government from power in the next Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
