Could Congress have removed 370, brought a law to stop triple talaq: Manohar Lal – dainiktribuneonline.com

Gohana (Sonipat), 26 April (HP)

Former Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Karnal Lok Sabha constituency Manohar Lal has slammed Congress for arranging OBC reservation for Muslims in Karnataka. He said that Congress considers the first right of minorities in the country while BJP considers that of the poor. He asked in the open forum whether Congress could have built Ram Temple, removed Article 370 and made a law to stop triple talaq. BJP has done in 10 years what Congress could not do in 55 years.

Manohar Lal was addressing the Vijay Sankalp rally at Devi Lal Stadium on Friday. He said that Congress has got into the habit of lying. Now Congressmen are saying that if we come to power we will eliminate poverty. Late in 1970 Indira Gandhi had also given the slogan of eradicating poverty.

He taunted the Congressmen that they neither had values nor brains. Now Congressmen are saying that they will give one lakh rupees per year to all the poor families. The total budget of the country is Rs 46 lakh crore. Now if everyone is given one lakh rupees, how will the country run? Congressmen say that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Manohar Lal are not families. Political opponents should know that for Modi the entire country and for him 2.82 crore people of Haryana are his family.

Referring to the road network being laid in Gohana, he said that another Gurugram will be built in the future. Work is being done towards converting the public education institute in village Butana into a university. During the BJP rule, Rs 4371 crore was spent on development in Gohana, due to which the condition here improved. He said that BJP’s resolution of crossing 400 will be fulfilled when Mohan Lal Badoli reaches Lok Sabha by winning from Sonipat Lok Sabha seat.
