Jaipur. Education is our most powerful weapon that we can use to change the world. Keeping these words of Nelson Mandela in mind, Prof. is working on green chemistry. Anshu Dandiya. Pro. Dandiya has recently been selected by the Society for Materials Mumbai for the Women Scientist Award-2023 award which will be awarded in October 2023.
She has been the convener of the Board of Studies at Rajasthan University. He made nano coating for solar panels and started his research work on green chemistry in the 90s. She was the first woman to work on green chemistry in Rajasthan University. There came a time in her life when she was confined to a wheel chair due to health reasons but her work did not stop. After retirement he started a company.
Recently his team has created solid state nano coating with a thickness of about 0.4 microns which is used in solar panels. The use of this nano coating increases power and energy production. She says age is just a number which made her retire but her scientific mind will never let her retire realistically.
She has been awarded the Bronze Medal from the Chemical Research Society of India, the prestigious MRSI Medal from the Materials Research Society of India, the prestigious International Women Scientist Award, the Science Legend Award as well as the Nari Shakti Award.
