Long lines can be seen outside the modules of the National Electoral Institute (INE) of citizens who waited until the end to update their credentials, since the deadline ends this Monday, January 22.
“As the date has approached, more people are coming to train, it seems that we left everything until the last day, we remind citizens that we will be working this Monday until midnight (midnight) in the four modules to provide care to all these peoples,” said Roxana Lara García, executive member of district board 06 of the INE in Torreón.
He clarified that the citizens of sections 1184 and 1310, where there was a resection process, They have their right to vote guaranteed even if they do not come to update their credentials.
This January 22 is the deadline for the credentialing campaign, on that same date the deadline expires for people who have already turned 18, as of September 1, 2023, or who will turn 18 before June 2, 2024, to day of the election day of the Federal Electoral Process (PEF) 2023-2024, they can process and obtain their credentials to vote and exercise their right to vote. Citizens are reminded that only three documents are needed to obtain or carry out any Voting Credential procedure: birth certificate, official identification and proof of address, in original, without deletions or amendments.
