WhatsApp is on the eve of a significant change: the application interface is currently under construction and the changes made could change user habits.
Meta is actively preparing a serious facelift for WhatsApp. The menu bar, at the top of the application, would be entitled to the bulk of the changesaccording to the findings of specialists in WABetaInfo. On Android, the latest Messaging beta (version 2.23.18.18) contains the new design, although it’s hidden at present.
A more discreet green
Exit the current green bar, WhatsApp embraces the fashion of minimalism with a white interface, flanked on the left by the messaging logo. At the top, the status bar is also white; on a previous beta, it was always on a green background. The bottom bar also changes in depth by hosting the sections that were previously found under the top menu bar.
Finally, the beta reveals a keyword system to filter the display of conversations: unread, personal and business. It’s unclear when all of this will be available to the general public, but it won’t be long before now. Note that this new design will also be available on iOS.
