Fast X became the first Hollywood movie to earn more than Rs 100 crore in India this year

The action-packed Fast X has become the first Hollywood movie to cross the Rs 100 crore mark at the box office in India this year. Its producer Universal Pictures has told that it has achieved a collection of about $ 12.6 million (about Rs 105 crore) in 11 days after its release. This movie was released on 19 May.

Internationally, Fast X has collected $515.6 million (approximately Rs 4,266 crore). It has become the third biggest movie of this year. Before that are Super Mario Bros and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. The new Fast and Furious movie has got a collection of $ 402 million (about Rs 3,327 crore) outside the US and Canada. In North America, it has earned $113.5 million (roughly Rs. 939 crores). The movie competes with Disney’s Little Mermaid which has collected only $185.8 million (roughly Rs. 1,537 crore) at the international box office since its release last Friday.

Analysts say Little Mermaid hasn’t had a great opening weekend. Fast X did well from the opening weekend. The movie tells the story of Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) encountering new enemy Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa) in the city. It has a lot of action as well as strong acting by seasoned actors. John Cena returns as Jakob Toretto in this movie. During the CinemaCon event last month, Vin Diesel had told that Fast X Part 2 could be released after two years.

A website offered to pay to watch all 10 parts of the Fast and Furious movie. Its purpose is to track the damage from each car accident that occurs in the series movies. The FinanceBuzz website, an informational site that offers tips and tricks in exchange for payment, is offering $1,000 (roughly Rs. 82,000) to people willing to watch the movies. According to the website, this reward is being given for watching all 10 films of the action franchise Fast and Furious starring Vin Diesel. The objective behind this is to track the damages caused by the car accidents shown in these movies. The winner of this contest will have to delve deeper into each car accident and explain how much damage it caused.
