Sushma Gupta, Vice-Chairperson of Haryana Red Cross Society said that Red Cross is in the front line to deal with every calamity in the society through humanitarian service. The mantra of service given in the training camp is implemented by Red Cross volunteers as public service.
She was speaking as the chief guest at a five-day state level junior training camp for girls started by the Haryana branch at Srinangli Bela Ashram in Haridwar. He inaugurated the camp by laying flowers on the portrait of Red Cross founder Sir Jean Henri Dunat. 209 girls and 40 teachers from 21 districts of Haryana are participating in the training camp. The camp will last till November 8. Sushma Gupta said that daughters are ahead in every field. From sports to space flight, girls have an important contribution. According to the principles of the Red Cross, girls are rites of passage, although they are sensitive by nature, which is why they are able to take care of the family and serve the elderly.
We have to expand this spirit of service and take it global. Camp Director Ramsheesh Mandal presented the outline of the activities. Resource person Narendra Jindal, Om Prakash Gandhi, Dr. Pankaj Gaud, Krishna Kakkar, Anju Sharma, Anju Kumari, Vinay Chaudhary, Sandeep Sharma, Kumari Sudesh along with Rachna Kumari and Krishna Devi were prominently present on this occasion.
