It’s no longer just a rumor: Samsung is really preparing a connected ring, and its launch is in the pipeline as indicated by code in the Galaxy Wearable application.
Samsung’s connected ring will look… like a ring. At least that’s what we can see from the icon of the object, which appeared in the depths of the Galaxy Wearable app. 9to5Google dug into the application code to find this visual. If the image does not really tell us about the functions of this ring – it remains an icon, after all -, she confirms that such a device is indeed in preparation.
In addition to the icon, the app code also refers to “Galaxy Ring”, which could well be the name of the ring. Moreover, Samsung protected this brand last March. Finally, the application clearly suggests that a launch is planned for next year.
