Chairman of the election campaign committee of Aam Aadmi Party, Dr. Ashok Tanwar said that the Delhi government has confirmed the recruitment of 5000 sanitation workers of the Municipal Corporation. Kejriwal government has given a Diwali gift to the sanitation workers. He said that our government was formed in the Municipal Corporation in January. From then till today, Aam Aadmi Party has confirmed about 6494 sanitation workers. In a statement issued from Chandigarh on Thursday, Tanwar said that the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to strengthen the sanitation workers. Ever since the Aam Aadmi Party has been announced by the government to confirm them, all the sanitation workers of Delhi are very happy. At the same time, the sanitation workers of Haryana are fighting to become permanent.
There are a total of 11 thousand rural sanitation workers in Haryana, who are waiting to be confirmed. Haryana Government has neither any intention nor any policy to confirm the sanitation workers. Haryana Government has taken a U-turn on confirming raw employees in the High Court.
