Rao said that the RRTS scheme from Delhi to Bawal border of Haryana has been approved and in coming days this scheme will prove to be a milestone in the development of the region. He was addressing public meetings in Kadipur, Gadauli Kalam, Gadauli Khurd, Harsaru, Wazirpur, Sector 14, Ashok Vihar, Rajendra Park and Sector 5 on Saturday.

He said that the elevated road from Hero Honda Chowk to Kadipur Chowk in Gurgaon has been approved and its work will be started in the coming days. Rao said that Gurgaon railway station is being redeveloped at a cost of Rs 300 crores, and direct connectivity of Vande Bharat to Gurgaon from Chandigarh has been done. Rao said that the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will further boost the industrial development of Gurugram, while the Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari National Highway will prove to be better in facilitating traffic.
