Enrique “N” was arrested on Thursday morning, after being accused of trying to steal several cans of intoxicating beverages from a business in downtown Torreón.
According to the first investigations, the man was in the store when he had about 15 drinksHowever, he skipped the checkout area and tried to leave the place without paying beforehand.
Local workers requested the presence of the authorities through a panic button, while others stopped him before he managed to flee.
The elements of the Municipal Police were mobilized to the site to learn of the facts and arrest Enrique, who was transferred to a cell in charge of the Public Ministry for the alleged crime of shoplifting.
