A program was organized by the Hindi Department and Sanskrit Department on the occasion of Hindi Day in Goswami Ganesh Dutt Sanatan Dharma Mahavidyalaya. Principal of the college, Dr. Ajay Sharma, while wishing everyone a Happy Hindi Day, told about the importance of Hindi language. He praised the Hindi Department and Sanskrit Department for organizing Hindi Day. Students of BA first year, second year and third year participated in this program. In this program, BA students including Siya (3rd year), Shweta (3rd year), Samriddhi (3rd year), Khushi (2nd year), Komal (2nd year), Shivani (1st year) presented their poetry recitations and short stories. The story showed the importance of Hindi language. Hindi Department Head Dr. Pratibha Kumari said in her statement that on September 14, 1949, the Constituent Assembly unanimously decided that Hindi would be the official language of India. The first Hindi Day was celebrated in 1953 which continues even today. While promoting Hindi language, he presented his original poetry. The stage was conducted by Dr. Devi Singh, Head of Sanskrit Department. He also presented his original poem.
