Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the Municipal Corporation will build houses for 15 more poor families of the corporation area. Under the scheme, Mayor Madan Chauhan gave approval letters to all 15 families on Thursday. Under the scheme, an amount of Rs 2.5 lakh will be given to these families in three installments to build houses. The Corporation has so far issued sanction letters (sanction letters) to 2171 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Of these, one installment has been released to 1869, both installments to 1649 and all three installments to 886. Houses for about 1200 poor families have been constructed.
Mayor Madan Chauhan instructed the concerned officials to deposit the grant given to the beneficiaries for construction of houses in their accounts soon.
