HTC U24 series models will launch with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and 12GB RAM! Listed on Geekbench

The HTC U24 series is expected to be launched as a successor to the HTC U23 lineup, which was introduced in May 2023 with the base HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro models. The company has not yet officially confirmed this upcoming series, but models have been seen online. One of the expected models – the HTC U24 or HTC U24 Pro – was recently spotted on a benchmarking site, where the phone’s chipset, RAM and OS details were revealed. Another online listing also revealed the connectivity specifications of this alleged HTC U24 series model.

An upcoming smartphone from HTC with model number 2QDA100 was recently spotted on Geekbench. The listing has revealed that the handset may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM and the device will run on Android 14. The phone scored 3,006 and 1,095 points in multi-core and single-core tests respectively.

The same HTC model with model number 2QDA100 was also spotted on a Bluetooth SIG listing, confirming that the upcoming smartphone will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. No other details about the handset have been revealed yet. It is speculated that it will be either the HTC U24 or HTC U24 Pro models. The phones may launch in May, as the current handset was launched in the same month last year.

The HTC U24 and HTC U24 Pro handsets are expected to come with upgrades over the previous lineup, but are likely to retain FHD+ 120Hz OLED displays as well as IP67 certification for dust and water resistance. The upcoming model is also likely to have a larger battery than the 4,600mAh battery of the older smartphone.

Let us tell you that the two models of HTC U23 series work on Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, with which 12GB RAM and 256GB inbuilt storage has been added. They feature 6.7-inch 120Hz full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) OLED displays and support 30W wired and 15W wireless charging. The base HTC U23 sports a triple rear camera unit with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Pro model is equipped with a quad rear camera system, which includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 5-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. The front cameras of both phones have 32-megapixel sensors.
