Income tax raid on former IPS Ram Narayan Singh’s house, ₹5 crore cash recovered so far

During the Income Tax (IT) raid at the house of retired UP cadre IPS officer Ram Narayan Singh in Noida Sector-50, Uttar Pradesh, cash of Rs 5 crore has been recovered so far. Sources in the Income Tax Department claim that 700 lockers have been found in the basement of Ram Narayan Singh’s house. The locker was used by other businessmen to hide their money.

It is to be known that former IPS officer Ram Narayan Singh had retired in 2016 on the post of DG. Income tax officials had received information of crores of rupees in the basement of his house, after which this raid was conducted.
