Haryana government’s industrial policies are sounding, as a result domestic and foreign companies are investing in the state. In this episode, Chief Minister Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone of Flipkart’s regional distribution center building in Manesar on Friday. The CM also launched a grocery fulfillment center in Sonepat through virtual medium. Investors’ interest in Haryana will increase from these two centers. Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala was also present as a special guest in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that Haryana has a very favorable environment for investors. Government’s policies are favorable to investors and industries. We are setting big goals and achieving them. As a result, Haryana is emerging as a manufacturing hub. I am happy that Flipkart has invested so much here given this favorable environment.

Manohar Lal said that with the help of companies like Flipkart, we are developing our National Capital Region as a warehousing and logistics hub. In this direction, implementation of initial ambitious projects like Global Smart City and Mass Rapid Transit System in Gurugram has been started. An integrated multi-modal logistics hub is being developed in an area of ​​886 acres at Narnaul.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that Flipkart Group has become one of the largest supply chain networks in the country. The group is delivering goods to 50 crore customers from more than 14 lakh sellers every month. In Haryana, Flipkart has created more than 95 thousand local jobs, supported self-help groups and women entrepreneurs and promoted local manufacturing. The Chief Minister suggested to e-commerce company Flipkart that today 5 lakh women are connected to 55000 self help groups in Haryana. Include these self help group products in your chain. Along with this, through FPO, the products of the farmers are also delivered to the consumers. On this occasion, MLA Satyaprakash Jarawata, MLA Sudhir Singla, JJP District President Shyochand Yadav and others were present.

New chapter of modern technology started : Dushyant

Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala in his address said that with the launch of Flipkart’s regional distribution center, a new chapter of modern technology is going to start in the field of logistics on Haryana soil. Chautala said that due to the growing nature of the e-commerce market, the demand for skilled manpower in the logistics sector is increasing day by day. In such a situation, Flipkart management can prepare skilled workforce according to its convenience and needs by making an agreement with the government industrial units run by the Haryana government in the surrounding rural areas.
