Film actress Mahima Choudhary on Saturday said that she was inspired by the spirit of actor Sanjay Dutt and tennis legend Martina Navratilova during their battle with cancer, on the strength of which both celebrities remained active in their profession despite battling the disease. Choudhary said during a program at a private hospital in Indore on World Cancer Day, ‘I used to look at Sanjay Dutt with astonished eyes while resting on his bed and think how amazing it is that he is there during his battle with cancer- They are going places, they are involved in the shooting of films and they are also giving hit films.’ She said that during her battle with cancer, she read that Martina Navratilova was back on the tennis court competing in a tournament just two weeks after breast cancer surgery. Chaudhary (49) started his film journey with Subhash Ghai’s film ‘Parades’ (1997).

The actress said, ‘I was inspired by these stories of Dutt and Navratilova and I thought that when these people can keep themselves strong and stay active in their regular professions during their battle with cancer, why can’t I stay? ফির নান নান্যানা কিয়া কাজে কেস্জে জাজ্বে কানান है.’
