IPL 2022: RCB also admitted Virat Kohli in difficult times, coach said big thing

Mumbai. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) head coach Sanjay Bangar has defended former captain Virat Kohli, who is running in a bad mood, but admitted that he is in difficult times. Kohli was out on a golden duck against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday. He got out on the first ball in the second consecutive match. He said that Kohli is doing everything which is under his control. But there comes a time in the life of a player, when the fielders catch the first ball coming out of the edge of their bat. Kohli has not been able to score a century in any format of the game for the last 3 years. In the current season of T20 league (IPL 2022), Kohli has not been able to score a single half-century so far.

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered a spectacular victory of 9 wickets in this match after wrapping up RCB’s innings for just 68 runs. Sanjay Bangar said after the match that Kohli is such a player who has consistently performed well for RCB. Any player goes through such a bad phase. He started the season in a great way. He was run out in a match and after that the very first ball that came out of the edge of the bat went into the hands of the fielders.

Shastri advised rest

Former India coach Ravi Shastri recently said that fatigue dominates Kohli and he needs rest. When Bangar was asked about this, he did not pay much attention to it. The former batting coach of Team India said that he is definitely doing everything, which is under his control. He is working on his fitness and skills and is also taking good rest. He is not letting the pressure get to him.
