Joe Jonas has filed for divorce from Sophie Turner after four years of marriage, according to reports.
The Jonas Brothers singer, 34, filed for dissolution of marriage on Sept. 5 in Miami Dade County, Florida, according to documents obtained by Today. The petition states that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”
As for the reason Jonas filed for divorce, a source told TMZ on Tuesday that their lifestyle differences were the reason for the breakup. “[A Turner] He likes to party [Jonas] he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” a source told the outlet.
Despite initial reports that the couple’s two daughters have been residing with Jonas while Turner, 27, is shooting a project in the UK, the petition allegedly claimed that “it is in the best interests of the minors that the parents share parental responsibility.
In addition to asking for joint custody, the document also indicated that Jonas and Turner had a prenuptial agreement.
Jonas and Turner married in 2019 and share two daughters: Willa, 3, and a 1-year-old.
