The just-on-web application replaces the eGreffe system. Non-profit members will be able to manage all their legal documents on a single platform. In a second phase, the system will be extended to businesses. A launch in early 2024 is mentioned. Foreign companies will also be able to set up branches there. Concretely, the new system avoids the founder having to physically go to the company court.
With JustAct, it will therefore be possible to digitally file a private incorporation deed to create a company, create private deeds and create and modify its statutes based on templates (standard sentences) and create a branch in Belgium for a European company.
The system is accessible via the “Business” tab on the justonweb.be website.
New features will be added to the online service for businesses on Just-on-web by the end of 2023, it has been announced. The entrepreneur will be able to make changes in digital format to the company’s statutes such as the revocation and appointment of agents, change of registered office and updating of contact details. In 2024 it will also be possible to make other changes (capital, objective, activities, etc.) and more complex changes.
Each year, an average of 8,000 companies and 4,000 non-profit organizations are affected by a private incorporation act. In total, Belgium has some 150,000 non-profit organizations.
JustAct was developed by the FPS Strategy and Support, Bosa. A budget of 1.8 million euros was mobilized.
