New Delhi. Opener KL Rahul, who is captaining the Lucknow Super Giants, completed his 100 matches in the IPL on Saturday. He achieved this big feat in the 26th match of IPL-2022 against Mumbai Indians. Rahul also made this match memorable at the Brabourne Stadium and scored a century in 56 balls. He completed his half-century in 33 balls and then continued to play fiercely. Rahul also completed the century in the 19th over of the innings with a four. Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Lucknow to bat first.
KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock came out for the opening. Both also put up a brilliant partnership of 52 runs. Fabian Allen broke this partnership when Quinton was dismissed lbw. De Kock contributed 24 runs in 13 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six. Rahul remained frozen and then he carried on the innings with Manish Pandey.

Rahul completed 2 runs by running on the third ball of the 12th over of Jasprit Bumrah’s innings and made the personal score 51 runs. He remained frozen till the end and targeted the Mumbai bowlers a lot. He played an unbeaten innings of 103 runs in 60 balls. During this he hit 9 fours and 5 sixes.
