Lathi charge on AAP workers, Sushil Gupta, Anurag Dhanda injured –

Party officials and workers on Friday surrounded the residence of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Kurukshetra in protest against the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Police used water cannon and lathi charge to stop AAP workers. During this, party state president Sushil Gupta and senior state vice president Anurag Dhanda were injured in the lathi charge. Party officials have accused the police of carrying out a deadly attack.

Sushil Gupta said that the police lathicharged our workers. Hundreds of our workers have been injured in this. He said that BJP is scared of Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal, because BJP’s departure is certain. Gupta said that Satyendra Jain has been arrested for two years and Manish Sisodia for one and a half years in false cases. Now Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested in the same false case. He said that PM Modi took thousands of crores of rupees from those whom he called coal thieves and gave them the tender the next day. Now all their records are coming out. Anurag Dhanda said that Kurukshetra has today become a witness to injustice, injustice and atrocities. We came to protest peacefully but we were lathicharged.

Arrested to divert attention from electoral bonds: Ashok Arora

Kurukshetra (HP): Former minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Arora said that BJP has been exposed on the charge of recovery of thousands of crores in the form of electro bonds. To divert public attention from this scam, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was undemocratically arrested at night. He condemned the arrest of Kejriwal. He said that the BJP government has no faith in democracy. The Constitution is being torn to pieces. Democratic rights are being violated. He condemned lathi charge and water cannons on AAP workers in Kurukshetra. He said that today the work of intimidating the opposition leaders in the country is being done by the BJP government. If any opposition leader opposes the anti-people policies of the government, he is put in jail.

BJP has no hand in the arrest: Barala

Tohana (NIS): Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Barala said that ED has arrested the Delhi Chief Minister under the Indian Constitution after finding clues of corruption in his working style. He said that his arrest was not at the behest of BJP, but because he was on the radar of the investigating agencies due to the blackness of the pulses. He was talking to journalists in Tohana. He said that ED is investigating the case, but the new alliance in the country is trying to save him. BJP has had and will continue to have a zero tolerance policy on corruption. The party wishes that every citizen of the country should get direct benefits. He said that ED and CBI are working as per the Constitution. Opponents have no issue.
