OL also assures its support to “its injured supporters”, confirming that “six supporters’ buses had also been targeted”.

OL “regrets that this type of situation occurs every year in Marseille and invites the authorities to take stock of the seriousness and repetition of this type of incident before an even more serious tragedy occurs.”

The former president of Lyon and current minority shareholder (9%), Jean-Michel Aulas, for his part called for exemplary sanctions, citing “incidents” which are repeated.
