Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that an integrated manufacturing cluster will be created in Hisar under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor project. It will be developed with multi-modal connectivity and world-class manufacturing facilities.
The Deputy Chief Minister on Wednesday chaired a meeting of officials regarding Integrated Manufacturing Cluster in Chandigarh. He said that it is the responsibility of the Haryana government to provide all the basic facilities like electricity, water, roads, sewerage etc. in this cluster to be built on about 1605 acres of land so that more and more manufacturing units can be established. Dushyant Chautala ordered the officials to complete the process of taking the remaining land for this so that the work can be started soon. Civil Aviation and Industry departments will provide full cooperation in developing the cluster.
Dushyant said that this cluster is being built near Hisar Airport. This will provide easy access to the Western and Eastern freight corridors and will also benefit from the proximity of Hisar Junction connecting to various rail lines.
