State Cooperative Minister Dr. Banwari Lal inaugurated the 40th sugarcane crushing season 2023-24 of The Palwal Cooperative Sugar Mill on Wednesday by pressing the button and putting sugarcane in the chain of the mill’s donga. Dr. Banwari Lal said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal is a farmer-friendly leader. He has implemented many schemes for the benefit of farmers in the state. The price of sugarcane has been increased by Rs 14 per quintal and this step is definitely a right decision taken in the interest of farmers. He said that 38.00 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been loaded by Sugar Mill Palwal, out of which the mill is likely to get about 32 lakh quintals of sugarcane for crushing. On the occasion of the inauguration of the crushing season 2023-24, the Cooperative Minister honored Virendra, a resident of Dighot village, the farmer who brought sugarcane in the first tractor to the mill gate, by giving him a shawl and shagun, and in the same sequence, the second truck driver Ramveer, who brought sugarcane from Likhi Center to the mill, Had arrived and honored him by giving him a shawl and shagun.
On this occasion, Palwal MLA Deepak Mangala, Hodal MLA Jagdish Nair, Hathin MLA Praveen Dagar, BJP District President Charan Singh Tewatia, Cooperative Bank Director Mukesh Singla, Praveen Grover and DC Neha Singh etc. were present.
Meeting regarding the birth anniversary of Jhalkari Bai
Gurugram (HP): Cooperation Minister Dr. Banwari Lal said that Jhalkari Bai’s birth anniversary will be celebrated with pomp and grandeur in Palwal on 20th November. On Wednesday, he was addressing a meeting under the chairmanship of District President Gargi Kakkar at the BJP office “Gurukamal” in Gurugram regarding the preparations for the birth anniversary celebrations of Jhalkari Bai. Dr. Banwari Lal said that Chief Minister Manohar Lal has decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of Jhalkari Bai at the government level.
