The Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant, considers that the legislature is not in danger despite Junts’ vote against the Amnesty Law and the warning from the party’s general secretary, Jordi Turull, in which He warned the PSOE that it will breach the investiture agreement if a “comprehensive and immediately applicable” rule does not come forward. In the words of the minister, the legislature is “not at all” in danger. “We are convinced that we are going to continue moving this country forward,” she remarked in the halls of Congress when asked about the matter upon her arrival at the Committee on Science, Innovation and Universities. According to Morant, the amnesty is a “conviction” in the form of a law and the PSOE is convinced that it is “one more step” in the “normalization” of coexistence in our country and will help resolve the situation in Catalonia. “It is a good law, a law that is well made and, therefore, we are going to defend it with that conviction,” she remarked.
