Starbreeze has announced two new Payday 3 characters.
The cooperative heist game will have, on launch day, two additional characters that will join the already announced Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains. It’s about two women, Pearl and Joy.
According to the developers, “Pearl is an expert thief and infiltrator,” while Joy is “a genius hacker and security expert.” You can see both in action in the trailer that accompanies this news.
In addition, the roadmap for the DLC has also been published, confirming that there will be four additional content packs that will be published throughout the first year of the game’s life.
The first, scheduled for winter 2023, is titled Syntax Error. After him will come Boys in Blue in spring 2024, The Land of the Free in summer 2024 and Fear and Greed in autumn 2024.
These contents will add new “playable characters, enemies, weapons and cosmetics”, and there are also planned updates with “the change to Unreal Engine 5, quality of life improvements, new features and much more.”
Payday 3, edited by Deep Silver, will be published next September 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. It will also be available on launch day on Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
Also remember that this weekend there is an open beta, which will last until Monday, September 11. You can access it on PC (via Steam) or Xbox Series X/S (via the Insider app).
