Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that today the country, the world and the society need to follow the path of true non-violence shown by Mahatma Gandhi so that we can promote the feeling of mutual harmony and brotherhood by eliminating the feeling of animosity growing among humans. . The Governor was speaking on the occasion of the 154th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi organized at Haryana Raj Bhavan here on Monday. He paid heartfelt tribute to Mahatma Gandhi by offering floral tributes to his portrait.

During this time, he also paid floral tributes to the second Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri by paying floral tributes to him and highlighted his ideals and principles. The Governor said that Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi taught the lesson of coordination of all religions and united them into one thread and gave independence to the country. He gave the message of peace to humanity by following the path of truth and non-violence as shown by Mahatma Buddha.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, remembering Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, said that Bapu’s ideals and thoughts are relevant in today’s time, we should follow them. He called upon the youth to pledge to work for the progress of the country and the state by being bound by the thread of unity and discipline. On this occasion, all religion prayer, Ramdhun and singing of Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite bhajans took place and in this prayer meeting, religious preachers of Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Sikh religions gave the message of unity and integrity of the country through sermons and bhajans. On this occasion, Home Secretary TVSN Prasad, Commissioner and Secretary Pankaj Aggarwal, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Amit Aggarwal, Secretary to the Governor Atul Dwivedi and other officers were present.
