The Dutch soccer team won this Sunday 1-2 against Ireland, in Group B of the qualifying phase for the next Euro Cup in 2024, while Slovenia remained at the top of Group H after beating the team 0-4. from San Marino, all corresponding to matchday 6.
At the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, the home team opened the scoring very early with a penalty converted by Adam Idah. However, another penalty converted by Cody Gakpo equalized in the 19th minute. A goal by Wout Weghorst, in the 56th minute from a pass from Denzel Dumfries, established the final 1-2.
This victory helped the Netherlands reach nine points, behind the lead held by France (15 points), although with one more game under its belt.
