Night curfew announced in Bihar, schools up to class 8 also closed

In view of the third wave of Corona in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar held a meeting of Crisis Management Group. In the meeting, along with the Chief Minister, the Deputy CM of Bihar, the Health Minister, the state and other ministers besides all the top officials were present. After the rapidly increasing cases of corona came to the fore in the meeting, the government has decided to impose night curfew.

In this meeting chaired by CM Nitish Kumar, it has been decided to impose night curfew. After this, the night curfew will be applicable in the state from January 6 to January 21. The night curfew will be effective from 10 pm to 5 am. Apart from this, a decision has been taken to close all gyms, malls and parks. 

In view of the increasing cases of corona in the state, it has been decided in the meeting that except essential services, all shops will remain open till 8 pm. Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 will open with 50% attendance in all colleges. Preference will be given to online classes at all places.

Along with this, all places of worship have been closed for devotees till further orders. Now only priests will be able to worship. So there the cinema hall, gym, park, club, stadium, swimming have been completely closed. Along with this, restaurants and dhabas will open with half the capacity. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed to attend the wedding and 20 people will be allowed to attend the last rites. A maximum of 50 people will be allowed in political, community, cultural public events and permission will have to be taken from the district administration.
