Pachuca suffers to beat Tijuana

Tuzos del Pachuca suffered more against Xolos de Tijuana, whom they defeated 3-2 at the Hidalgo stadium, in a match on matchday 5 of Clausura 2024

Tuzos seemed headed for an easy and comfortable victory because in the first 30 minutes he already had two goals, scored by Miguel Rodríguez in the 16th after a good play and by Oussama Idrissi, in the 27th, with a long-distance shot that the Tijuana goalkeeper Jesús Corona couldn’t stop.

Everything was going perfectly for the local team, but in the 32nd minute things got complicated after a handball from Cabral in the center of the area. Penalty awarded to Cristian Rivera, who made it 2-1.

Pachuca continued with control of the ball and dangerous arrivals against Corona, which could not capitalize, although Tijuana also had its own thing and tried to create danger without success.

Tuzos made it 3-1 in the 64th with the help of Salomón Rondón and they wanted more goals from the local team, given the facilities provided by the border team.

Near the end Tijuana took the lead and in the 85th minute Carlos González brought his team closer to 3-2 and the suffering of the local team to avoid a tie.

Pachuca managed to control the game and in the end came out with the three points to reach 9 units and leaving Xolos at two units.
