Pakistan’s passport is the fourth worst in the world, only so many countries have visa on-arrival facility

India’s neighboring country Pakistan’s passport has been declared as the fourth worst passport in the world. Henley & Partners, a global citizenship and residency advisory company, gave this information in its report. It reported that Pakistan has been ranked as the country with the fourth worst passport in the world. The country with a population of over 220 million is ranked 100 out of 227 countries included in the Passport Index.

Earlier this year, London-based firm Henley & Partners ranked Pakistan as the fifth worst passport holder. According to the report, till January this year Pakistanis had access to 35 countries with on-arrival visa facility, which has now come down to 33. Pakistan’s passport is stronger than only the passports of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Pakistan passport holders are allowed visa-free travel to only 33 countries.

Meanwhile, Singapore leads the index for having the most prestigious passports in the world. With this, the dominance of Japan seems to be ending. Japan was at the top of the list for the last five years. It is followed by South Korea, Austria, Finland, France, Luxembourg and Sweden in joint third place. Citizens of these countries can travel to 189 countries without prior visa. At the same time, Singaporeans can travel visa-free to at least 193 countries out of a total of 227 worldwide.
