Palworld adds two million copies in its first 24 hours

The developer of Palworld has revealed the first – and spectacular – sales figures for Palworld.

Yesterday we learned that the game from the Japanese studio Pocketpair had sold one million copies in its first eight hours on the market, a figure that has increased to two million in its first twenty-four hours.

This success also translates to a high number of concurrent users. This morning it is in eleventh position on the list of most played titles on Steam with 663,320 users. This afternoon it rose to tenth position with 821,606 users, surpassing the historical peaks of other games such as Among Us, Apex Legends or Valheim.

Palworld went on sale in Early Access on Friday, January 19. It is available on PC and Xbox, and has also been published from day one on Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
