PPP will decide the number of sweepers and watchmen in villages

Now the posts of chowkidars and sweepers in the villages of Haryana will be decided according to the data of Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). That is, according to the PPP, the posts of watchmen and sweepers will be sanctioned in the village in proportion to the population of the village. For this, the population recorded in PPP data till December 31, 2022 will be valid. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced this during a public dialogue program at Thurana village in Hisar on Wednesday. So far, these posts are sanctioned on the basis of 2011 population in the state.

The Chief Minister listened to the problems of the people of Dhana Kalan village. He ordered suspension of the District Sports Officer for being absent in the public dialogue programme. The CM said that 19 thousand problems have come up so far through the public dialogue programme. They have been uploaded on the portal. Out of these, 2500 have been completed and DPR for 13 thousand has been prepared. Keeping a record of all the problems coming during this, they are being completed on priority basis. He said that tax collection is increasing every year. In comparison to the work done in the last 10 years, the present government has got double the development works done in 9 years.

The Chief Minister said that the government has formed Overseas Placement Cell to provide employment abroad to the youth. For this, nurses, physiotherapists, drivers, electricians are required in many countries. The government has made arrangements to provide such training to the youth across the state. The Chief Minister said that under the Livelihood Mission, 5 lakh members of 55 thousand self-help groups have been given benefits to make women self-reliant through self-help groups.
